Air Force

Andersen AFB is a huge sprawling base in the north of the island. It was built after the liberation of Guam in 1945 from which U.S. bombers and fighter planes flew combat missions in the assault of the Japanese mainland during WWII. Andersen AFB also played a major role in Vietnam War.
